Story.

We are Birdy and Jono, your hosts when you choose The Arena as your Wedding or Event venue.

 

Haupouri Station has been in our family for eight generations; it is the land Birdy grew up on and where we are now raising our young daughter – it is part of who we are.

 

It’s also the place we were married ourselves.  It was an obvious choice for us, considering our connection to the land, but after such an incredible Hawke’s Bay wedding experience we knew we wanted to share the space with others so that they too could create the event of their dreams in this one-of-a-kind setting.

 

Our first-hand experience holding our own large event here allows us to offer our personal tips and advice around what works best in the space, yet we love that every event held here can offer something different – it is essentially a blank (but very beautiful) canvas.

 

Not only is the location uniquely New Zealand, with an easy and relaxed feeling, it also delivers that major wow factor that will have your guests talking about your Hawke’s Bay event for years to come – ours still do!

 

With a new stunning backdrop every direction you look, and around every bend you take, this is New Zealand and it’s very best; we would love for it to become part of your story too.
